What is the Topcoat Founding Member program?
It's a limited early-access program for painting companies who join before public launch. Founders get into Topcoat early, help shape the roadmap, lock in 15% off their plan for the life of the subscription, and pay half to set up their organization — $50 instead of the standard $100.
How do I join, and what does it cost?
Joining the founders waitlist is free, with no credit card. When you're selected for early access, you'll add a card to activate your organization: a one-time $50 founder setup fee (half the standard $100) and your plan at 15% off — for life. Every plan still starts with a 7-day free trial.
Is the 15% discount really for life?
Yes. Your founding-member rate is 15% below the standard price of whichever tier you're on, and it stays there for as long as you keep your subscription active. When we raise prices down the road, founders keep their discount against the current rate.
What's the setup fee for?
Every new Topcoat organization pays a one-time setup fee that covers getting your company, product catalog, and team configured so you can price real jobs on day one. It's normally $100 — founders pay just $50.
What does 'beta testing' involve?
Exactly as much as you want. At minimum you get new features before everyone else. If you're up for it, you'll have a direct line to the team to tell us what's working on real job sites and what to build next — founder feedback goes to the top of the list.
Is Topcoat actually ready, or just an idea?
It's real and in daily use. Topcoat has been running on working paint crews for over a month, pricing live jobs on Android, and is now in final preparation for the App Store and Google Play. You're getting in early on a finished tool, not a concept.
